To celebrate the launch of PARISIENNE, and to encourage women to find their “inner PARISIENNE”, we have created www.ExperienceParisienne.com, where the essence of a woman and her PARISIENNE experience is shared with other women.
In this spirit, YSL is sending five renowned bloggers on a journey around the country to discover and reveal their very own PARISIENNE experiences in New York City, Miami, Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
Yves Saint Laurent has chosen an ensemble of women with passions for beauty, art, design, music, fashion and food to create a travel diary of their trip. Stay tuned here to read articles, see photos and follow the women on their journey.
Joanna joins the YSL ensemble with eight years of magazine experience, ranging from her time as editor-in-chief of Bene, an award-winning Italian travel and lifestyle magazine; to writing articles for Elle, Cookie and New York Magazine, to running a daily relationships blog for Glamour Magazine. Her personal blog, Cup of Jo, focuses on fashion, design, photography, travel and bikes. Joanna was born in Paris, and now lives in Manhattan's West Village with her brand-new husband and a lemon tree.
Sharon Montrose officially has the Best Job Ever: photographing puppies, baby deer and even little porcupines in Los Angeles. Since Paris is known for its canine obsession (dogs even sit at tables in fancy restaurants!), we thought it fitting (and an awesome excuse) to stop by Sharon’s studio during a shoot.

Anna Karina was filmmaker Jean Luc Godard’s muse, and it’s not hard to understand why. With alabaster skin, dark hair and mile-long eyelashes, the Danish-born actress is a serious stunner.
