I was inspired to pick up a copy of Julia Child’s Mastering the Art of French Cooking today because of one specific recipe that calls for fresh, market veggies. I’m nowhere near a master in the kitchen but I love the challenge of a really great cook book. This one is especially enticing with all of the soufflés, sautés, and flambés. Not to mention there is nothing I look forward to more than a trip to my local green market in TriBeCa. Take a look at today’s offerings and wish me luck on a successful meal!
