PARISIENNE is the essence of a woman who knows how to love and how to live. At the heart of YSL’s DNA is the empowerment of women, and true to this we believe that any woman, anywhere, can adopt the values of being a PARISIENNE. To celebrate the launch of PARISIENNE, and to encourage women to find their “inner PARISIENNE”, we have created www.ExperienceParisienne.com, where the essence of a woman and her PARISIENNE experience is shared with other women.
In this spirit, YSL is sending five renowned bloggers on a journey around the country to discover and reveal their very own PARISIENNE experiences in New York City, Miami, Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
Yves Saint Laurent has chosen an ensemble of women with passions for beauty, art, design, music, fashion and food to create a travel diary of their trip. Stay tuned here to read articles, see photos and follow the women on their journey.

Cynthia and I had a fantastic time in Paris! We met up with old friends, walked along the Seine and had some wonderful food! *Here you see Laduree macaroons and a falafel from the Marais at L’As du Falafel.
Bonne Annee! Happy New Years to all! Merci beaucoup Yves Saint Laurent pour le voyage.

In a week I will be in Paris…one week! Thanks to everyone’s help of course! Goodness, I never could of won this without you all. Merci!
So…on to packing and planning: what to bring? What to wear? Weather has been quite chilly I hear in this city of lights and I have one coat that should help me brave ‘le bonhomme d’hiver’. If the coat fails, (and even if it doesn’t) I do plan to grab a cup of cocoa on Rue de Rivoli…it’s called “l’africain” (*mmm c’est si bon!), I shall also purchase and pop pastel-colored macaroons into my mouth like m&m’s and warm my hands with a fresh croissant day-in and day-out. Sounds like a decent plan, non?
As far as New Year’s Eve goes…any suggestions on what to wear? I’m afraid I’ll freeze with the simple dress and tights combination…alas, the french do have a remedy for such misfortunes….bon champagne! *Merry Christmas/ Joyeux Noel!!! (and truly, a thousand thanks…what a joyous gift to be able to take a journey with a dear friend! merci.merci.merci!
